Better network planning, the use of AI, cloud workloads and batteries all help in this respect. The supply chain accounts for most of an operator’s emissions – but making changes is very challenging.
We will therefore examine the implications for the supply chain and how operators coordinate with their suppliers on joint reporting for things like transport emissions, materials used in manufacturing, and repurposing.
